| I was born in the Western North Carolina mountains of Asheville and raised in the Shenandoah Valley of Roanoke, VA. I met my husband in graduate school in Virginia Beach and we moved to the Nashville area in 1996. I love to be out of doors in the cool weather and love the A/C when it's hot! I really enjoy traveling and have seen the Big Apple, the Carribean, the Grand Canyon, the Canadian Rockies, the Grand Tetons, Niagara Falls and Natural Bridge. Music is one of my passions; from singing to songwriting. I'm very extroverted and love to spend quality time with friends. I'm a movie buff and enjoy the theater, too. I love to be active and enjoy the occasional mountain bike ride. And, I can't forget to mention...I'm a Disney lover, too! |

My strength is in walking alongside women of all ages who are wanting to achieve a new level of growth whether it is personally, educationally, or professionally. My desire is to help people live more spiritually, authentically and creatively in their God-given purposes and positions in life.

| I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor in private practice so most of my life is about ministering to others. Previously, I fulfilled roles in various churches and non-profit organizations that included: evangelism/outreach, social coordination, small group leadership, choir member, worship team member, and parenting through divorce instructor. I have also worked as a counselor in a ministry to young unwed mothers and troubled teenagers. |

| I have been in the field of mental health and psychotherapy since 1989. In 1995, I received my License as a Professional Counselor in VA and was certified with the National Board of Certified Counselors. I transferred my license to Tennessee in 1997. As an LPC, NCC, I have worked in group homes, partial day centers, residential and acute hospitals, home-based counseling, treatment foster care, churches, and multiple private practices. My experience as a therapist gives me an ideal background for Life Coaching since coaching utilizes the same skill set and applies it by looking forward to growth instead of looking back for healing. I have benefitted greatly from being coached by a wonderful LPCCI Life Purpose Coach and participating in personal spiritual direction with a certified Spiritual Director. I have also received continuing education through Ben Dean's Mentor Coach program and Christopher McCluskey's Coaching for Christian Living seminars. |
